And Better Not Run is one of those songs that I DIDN'T write about the same topic (as up there). I wrote it on a story that my duet partner told me. Quite cool, I will share another bit of lyric with ya So you're big in the middle, you're kind deep inside but what about the rest of you - did you see yourself just now? I can't have to reach inside you every time I need reminding of a woman I used to know, I'll waste no more
Just tell me, you know this, don't you? I'm not hanging around to watch you close up again, that's wasted too much time on losing providencehaha okay, so it's better with music. You'll hear when you're somewhere with cable Wow. You are one good songwriter. I swear! lol. Now I remember reading back all the comments that people have left for you. You really are extraordinary. I wish I could have at least half of your songwriting gift. Keep up with this. If my band's going far and if we're traveling to Europe, I would definitely suggest Norway and would you please say yes if we want you to be the opening act?

..just play my guitar.. write down words that are scribbled in my head....
yeah, that's what I want to do now, too.. nothing else at ALL! Lol but, we gotta keep two things going, Music AND school, because I heard something the other day. Something that made sense. It was just a clip from an interview with an artist, and he was talking about depressive periods in his life, especially around friends.
"I don't know anything. All I can do is make art. I don't have a real education." and that made me think "yeah. I would like a proffession OTHER than being a musician, being both at the same time." I'd love to create music, get to sell CDs and tour and stuff, and then study for medicin in between. Being the musician who's also a doctor. That'd be hot! lol. I'd like to know within me that I'm good for something else than just making music. I think that's part of that guy Maslow's "Pyramide of Human needs" or something. I know I sound real intelligent right now, but I know what it's called in Norwegian.
Oh, and sorry if the reply is late - I had to fetch the mail. It was packed with junk mail!

I'm laughing about the jumpy bones. If I'm an animator, I would be creating that animation already. ;D

I wish I could have at least half of your songwriting gift. you really think so? Yeah, I do get it more often now than I got before that I have good lyrics, but then again I do think lyrics, lyrics, lyrics every hour of the day. Get up at night to write down stuff. (most of "Own a soul" was written at 3 or 4 am!) Keep up with this. If my band's going far and if we're traveling to Europe, I would definitely suggest Norway and would you please say yes if we want you to be the opening act? you can bet your pink undies that I WILL!! lol. I'd open for you in any country, really, as long as it's not too damned expecive to go there. Germany? I'm there! lol.

oh and making a song similar to Stacie sounds like a great idea. Actually she might be a good "guide" so to speak, because she's a cross to pop/rnb from contemporary christian, right?
Makes me want to ask you if you're covering "more to life" or whatever that song is called. It's a great song, and quite a good recepy *sp*on how to write a good catchy, airy yet goody two shoes song. Much more so than Avril or Ashlee etc.

It's okay about your delay. We both really know how to take time to reply to each other. Take your time I'm talking on the phone with my mum. She's bored at her store so she's calling to talk to me. We love these special moments. lol. And you're correct about keeping up with MUSIC and EDUCATION. I'm definitely keeping up with my education. I so want to do medicine or nursing would be great too. How bout you? I know a few women who are nurses and they've been really encouraging. They've heard me and the band. And Yes, I'm betting on my pink undies! ahahaha.. Thank you Ama. We're most likely to tour around the UK. My band director has a lot of connections over there. That's closer to you eh? That would be great!!!! And More Yes... I do think you're an extraordinary songwriter. I really hope we'll be able to write a song together. Have you heard about Rosie and Caz? They're the Wrockers. They met on MB boards and now they're writing together. Wow isn't it? Maybe that'll be hard for us but I'd love to be able to write at least one song with you. I'd love to meet you one day and spend a whole day with you.

It would be an experience though - travelling together! haha.. think of all the writing and exchanging ideas and tips we could do! Pshh! Writing together isn't always easy or desirable - but credit to them if they pull it off. I did hear about them, although i haven't checked them out "the wockers" lol. I have written songs with people before (well, they've written lyrics, I have created music for it.. or like on Better not Run where I wrote a song on his story.) I do wish we could manage to write a song together though. That you could perform with your band. A catchy tune with good lyrics that will blow you up in the US and Europe and Asia and you know...

I've been thinking bout making one like Stacie's for a long time and have been listening for quite some time now. You're right, she crossed over from contemporary christian to pop/R&B. However, her lyrics are all christian based. The reason her record company put her out on the radio I think is becoz it's a recent tunes and it would be a good idea to let teens out there know that there's more to life... things like that. I don't think I can cover More To Life. She has way too high of vocals! lol. But I'm listening Don't Look At Me and Security. Those are great great songs. Strong Enough would be a great song to cover too. She has amazing works. If I were to write songs like Avril and Ashlee, it would be for outside occasions like urm.. open crowds.. just songs to pump the crowd up. Something like that.

Don't say that hon. I would definitely want you to open for me but I'm not alone now so I can't make the decisions myself... however, I would definitely push them to listen to your songs and consider. We're not that far yet so I'm gonna stop dreaming too far ahead. hehe. Yeah.. I've only written with somebody once, my best friend. Even then it was hard becoz what I wanted to put down, she didn't like or something she wouldn't write. I'm sure that happens to most everybody but I'm ready to work that out with you. hahaha. We'll see about that. Writing for my band would be a good idea! I'll definitely put you in for credit. My band director and manager's pushing me to put out 10 songs for the band. I feel a little pressured becoz I don't get to jam at the studio like I want to. I want to feel the atmosphere so I can write more. I'm gonna suggest that to them. The director's pushing me to write a jumpy songs or more jumpy songs actually.

I will keep this in mind though, and if I write something that I think might not suit me but could suit your band, I will let you know! lol. I haven't heard more than two songs from Stacie, but yeah, she uses her voice to the max! I feel that sometimes she's straining her voice, but hey, what do I know! lol. As a matter of fact, I'm working on a song right now, which lyrically sounds like Kelly C... I dunno. It's just a first verse and chorus: I’m laughing so hard, laugh until I cry The one thing we’re both truly good at Is making each other seem really bad
It’s too late now to ask all my ”whys” We ought to have figured all this out In advance, before we made promises We’ll never claim
And it’s well hidden But it’s like you’re shameful And you should be Of the dirty little truth that you possess It’s well hidden And I almost missed out then you showed me There are some things that are never gonna changeof course, it's all "subject to change" but don't you think that's a Kelly-ish song? lol. not that I'm TRYING to sound like her (dear google, I'd rather be a cheese doodle). Hm. I'm hungry!
