I'm officially 20 today and I already had a beer last night to celebrate myself. lol.
I haven't been on here updating and posting as much as I possibly can and I apologize. I know there's nothing big so I don't have to apologize but I do. You all are doing a great job keeping this board alive but I should be doing more. I'm gonna create new backgrounds, really spend time working on this and post new news for all of you.
I just read a post from Cath who encouraged us to join the Revolution created by Terra Naomi. It's called the SOMETHING GOOD TO SHOW YOU REVOLUTION. Those of you who have myspace, it's at www.myspace.com/somethinggoodtoshowu I just went over to the page 5 minutes ago and added that profile to my friend's list. It's a new revolution and I'd like to be a part of it and I encourage you to join it to. It's a revolution that we all should be a part of.. no matter where you are at. We are all united.
Like I told you, my band's currently just covering songs and I'm choosing a lot of songs that matters instead of just songs to entertain people. I'm suggesting "We Can" by LeAnn Rimes this coming Thursday when we have time after we're done practicing the sets that we arranged. It's a great song by LeAnn Rimes and next will be "Me Against The World" by Superchick. They are a great band.. band who sings about things that matters. They're not huge like bands you hear everyday on the radio but they are great. I love their lyrics and their tunes make you groove. It's not boring.
Music brings out a lot of benefits when a musician really put himself or herself out there. Like Terra Naomi.. phenomenal is the word. There are more words to describe but she is one phenomenal person. She definitely inspires me. I love it. I use to have a favourite artist and would constantly talk about it but now, I've broaden my views and unsigned artists actually have much more to talk about than singed artists.
So, take care and I promise to always come here and update. Oh and before I forget, visit my myspace for my band cover songs: Paramore's Here We Go Again and Pressure. They're a great band too. They're my new favourite band. I can't stop listening to their song. Hayley is absolutely an original.. the way she move, the way she sing.. everything. Wow. Phenomenal. If I'm lucky, I'll be able to go to the Vans Warped Tour and get to see them live. That'll be awesome.
